Mar. 19, 2024 - The North Central College men's lacrosse team has secured their first Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week award this season behind the efforts of junior goalkeeper, Aidan Murphy.
 
Murphy, a Junior from Lindenhurst, began the 2024 campaign securing the College Conference of Illniois and Wisconsin (CCIW) best save percentage with a .615 over five matches. Helping secure a five-game win streak with 280 minutes at goal, Murphy obtained 64 saves, a second-best in the CCIW.
 
North Central has now secured a total of twenty-two CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week awards since the program began in 2017.
