Apr. 22, 2024 - The North Central College Student Athletic Advisory Committee Chippy Committee, led by Sadie Hill (SAAC VP and head of Chippys Committee) and
Tracy Stephen (associate athletic trainer) hosted the third annual Chippys, an event to recognize the successes of Cardinal athletics and student-athletes throughout the 2023-24 athletic calendar.
New this year was the Most Valuable Chippy award. One student-athlete from each team was awarded the MVC, voted on by their teammates. It was given to the student-athlete who most exemplifies their team culture and is a teammate through and through. The winners for each program are:

Female Sophomore of the Year - Abigail Penados, Women's Tennis
Male Sophomore of the Year - Christian Guzman, Men's Wrestling
Female Junior of the Year - Hailey Poe, Women's Triathlon
Male Junior of the Year - Joe Sacco, Football
Pack the Nest Award - Men's Track & Field
Female Senior of the Year - Elle Sutter, Women's Soccer/Basketball
Male Senior of the Year - Luke Lehnen, Football, Baseball
Chippy Changemaker Award - Tori Leonard, Women's Lacrosse
Female Unfinished Business Award - Lindsey Novak, Women's Track & Field
Male Unfinished Business Award - Robbie Precin, Men's Wrestling
Biggest Upset - Sara Sterner, Women's Wrestling taking fourth place at Nationals
