CCIW Men's Tennis All-Conference Teams

Ramon Vilarroig Martinez,
Matthew Sengphommachanh, and
Wyatt Crowell of the North Central College men's tennis team have been honored by the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin as All-Conference selections, the league announced on Wednesday.
Vilarroig Martinez, a First Team selection, posted a 6-1 singles record in CCIW play, all at the No. 1 position. In doubles action, he is 7-0 at the No. 2 spot with teammate Sengphommachanh. This marks his fourth All-CCIW honor and third straight First Team accolade.
Sengphommachanh, a two-time All-CCIW honoree, earned First Team accolades. He also went 6-1 in conference play at the No. 2 fixture. Along with Vilarroig Martinez, Sengphommachanh tallied an undefeated doubles record in league play.
Crowell, a Second Team selection, is a first-time honoree by the CCIW as he posted a 6-0 record in doubles at No. 1 play while going 6-0 in singles, primarily at the No. 4 position.
The CCIW also announced the eight winners of its RESPECT Award for the season. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourage inclusiveness and a positive culture. The Cardinals earned the No. 1 seed in the upcoming CCIW Tournament, hosted by Carroll University. North Central takes on No. 8 seed Elmhurst University at Jean Kilgour-Trailblazer Tennis Complex in Waukesha, Wis to open the three-day event.
