NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Oct. 13, 2025) – For the first time this season, the North Central College women's soccer team has swept the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin weekly awards as
Jordan Lange was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week alongside North Park's Sofia Svensson, and
Mackenzie Loomis reeled in the Defensive award outright.
Â
North Central's two nods are the second and third weekly awards this season following
Lily Mattison's honor back on Sept. 16. It marks the third weekly honor of Lange's career and the first for Loomis.
Â
Lange led the Cardinals to a 2-0 week in CCIW play with three goals, including the game-winner against Elmhurst University, Saturday, Oct. 11. Lange had two goals in North Central's 5-0 shutout over Augustana College on Wednesday, Oct. 8, both unassisted as she split two defenders for the first goal before going up against three Vikings defenders and the goalie to put away her second goal of the game. Lange also scored the Cardinals' sole goal against Elmhurst on Saturday.
Â
Loomis helped anchor a Cardinal back line that gave up one total shot across two CCIW shutouts. Additionally, the defender scored a header goal off of a corner kick opportunity in NCC's 5-0 shutout over Augustana – while not allowing a single Vikings shot – before limiting Elmhurst University to just one shot in the Cardinals' 1-0 shutout on Saturday.
Â
North Central hosts Millikin University for a midweek CCIW matchup on Wednesday, Oct. 15. Game time at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium is set for 7 p.m.
