Dec. 22, 2025 - Leading the way on yet another national list, six members of the North Central College football team were named to D3football.com All-America teams, highlighted by first-team selections
John Sullivan and
Aidan Ellison, the organization announced Monday.
Sullivan earned his third First Team All-America honor this season following his selections from the American Football Coaches Association and the Associated Press. He was named the D3football.com Region 5 Defensive Player of the Year as well as the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Defensive Player of the Year. He leads the team with 21 tackles for loss and 21 quarterback hurries, while totaling 69 tackles (36 solo), seven sacks and eight pass breakups.
Ellison has also been named an All-American for the third time this season (AFCA, AP). The graduate student won the Fred Mitchell Award earlier this month, becoming the second Division III kicker to win the honor. This season, he is 15-for-17 on field goals with a program-best 57-yard long. He has not missed a field goal under 51 yards this year.
Offensive tackle Cortez Jones, a second-team selection, adds to his postseason accolades. He anchors an offensive line that blocks for the top-scoring offense in Division III (49.4 points per game) and the eighth-best rushing attack (267.2 yards per game).
Quarterback Garret Wilson is a third-team honoree following a Second Team All-America selection from the AP. He leads all divisions with a 207.0 passing efficiency. This season, Wilson has thrown 42 touchdowns with just four interceptions and completed 70.33% of his passes.
His top target, Thomas Skokna, picked up his third All-America honor of the year as a third-team choice. The Gagliardi Trophy semifinalist leads Division III with 23 touchdown receptions, adding to his 1,226 yards and 81 catches.
Defensive back Rahmareon Roby was also named to the D3football.com Third Team, his second All-America honor this season. He leads the Cardinals with four interceptions and nine pass breakups. He scored two touchdowns on interception returns this season.
The 2025 D3football.com Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Coach of the Year will be announced following the Stagg Bowl.
