Press Release

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 4, 2025) – The postseason accolades continue to roll in for the North Central College women's soccer team as senior defender Kassandra Salviola and junior forward Jordan Lange were selected to the United Soccer Coaches' All-American Third Team Thursday afternoon.

Salviola and Lange both earn the distinction for the first time in their careers and become just the fourth and fifth players in program history to receive All-American recognition, bringing North Central's total honors to six. Their selections also mark only the second time in program history that a Cardinal pair has earned All-American honors in the same season, previously accomplished in 2023.

Of the 52 student-athletes earning the distinction for the 2025 season, North Central's two selections are the sole College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) representation on the All-American teams.

A three-time CCIW Defensive Player of the Year, Salviola adds All-American status to her decorated career after securing her third consecutive First Team All-Region nod. The senior defender and team captain is also a three-time First Team All-CCIW honoree. She started in all 22 games this fall, anchoring a Cardinal back line that recorded 10 shutouts while limiting its conference opponents to just three goals and a .060 shot percentage. Salviola contributed five goals and one assist in her final season and concludes her career ranked among the program's top 10 all-time in goals scored.

Lange, the reigning CCIW Offensive Player of the Year, earns her first All-American selection following her second First Team All-Region award and third regional honor overall. The junior forward led the Cardinals with 14 goals and 37 points, while sharing the team lead of nine assists. She tallied four game-winning goals and started in all 22 contests. Lange has already etched her name in the record books, ranking tied for second in career assists (27), third in points (95), and fifth in goals (34). She also owns five spots in the single-season records and still holds the program's freshman records for goals, assists, and points.

North Central capitalized on a 16-6 season, completing its second perfect 8-0 conference slate, sweeping the CCIW regular-season and tournament titles, and securing its third straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
