USILA Press Release

Mar. 6, 2025 – The North Central College men's lacrosse team has been honored with their first United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's (USILA) Team Award since 2018, as Charlie Snyder was selected for his herculean efforts this past week.

Senior midfielder Snyder earns his selection after earning career highs in goals in victories against the University of Dubuque (16-8) and Concordia University Wisconsin (19-12). In the first game of the week on the road at Dubuque, Snyder tallied a career high of five goals at the time, only to shatter that in the following game at home against Concordia with seven goals and one assist. In total, he marked his best week of his career with 12 goals, one assist, and one groundball to help the team to three straight victories to start the season. On average, Snyder leads the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) in goals per game.

Snyder and the Cardinals continue the season looking to improve to a 4-0 start by hosting the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday. Access the full schedule HERE.
