April 1, 2025 – For the first time this season, Aidan Murphy has earned his second career College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week award for defense after fending off a last-minute effort from Calvin University in a narrow 9-8 victory on Saturday.

In a match that came down to the final minute, Murphy fended off two heated shot attempts to maintain the Cardinal lead. Murphy tallied 19 saves throughout the match to lead the CCIW in saves per game average (14.63) and saves percentage (.661) while holding fourth in goals against average (8.21).

This marks the program's 24th conference weekly award since the 2017 season.

The Cardinals head back on the road Saturday to Indianapolis, Indiana, to face Transylvania University at 2 p.m.
