Contact: Tyler Bremner, Sports Information Assistant

April 2, 2025 – Aidan Murphy of the North Central College men's lacrosse team earned his first career selection to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's (USILA) Team Awards after his lockout performance against the Calvin University Knights on Saturday.

Senior goalkeeper Murphy locked down the Knights in the final minute, fending off two heated shot attempts to maintain the slim Cardinal lead 9-8. He tallied 19 saves throughout the match to earn his second career College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week award. Murphy leads the conference in saves per game average (14.63), leads in save percentage (.661), and holds fourth in goals against average (8.21).

The Cardinals head back on the road Saturday to Indianapolis, Indiana, to face Transylvania University at 2 p.m.
