2025 All-CCIW Teams

April 29, 2025 – The North Central College men's lacrosse team earned four nominations to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) second team, including Aidan Murphy, Cole Westphal, Jake Paris, and Evan Watanabe.

Westphal, a freshman attacker, was awarded the coveted CCIW First-Year Student Athlete of the Year award and first All-CCIW second team selection for his stellar debut performance. Throughout the year, he tallied the team's fourth-best with 16 goals, the team's second-best of 13 assists, eight groundballs, and three caused turnovers.

Senior midfielder Watanabe soared to his second career All-CCIW second team selection after firing a goal, tallying two assists, scooping up the team's third-best 28 groundballs, and forcing a team-leading 12 turnovers.

Paris, a graduate student defender, was nominated for his first second-team All-CCIW selection after scoring a goal, snagging 18 groundballs, and forcing the team's fourth-best seven caused turnovers.

Senior goalkeeper Murphy earns his first career second-team All-CCIW selection after anchoring the defense through ten games. He earned 142 saves while only allowing 80 to lead the CCIW in goals against average (14.20) and save percentage (.640).

The CCIW also announced the six winners of its RESPECT Award for the season. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution, and their community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration, and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture. North Central's RESPECT Award honoree is senior midfielder Charlie Snyder.
