Four Cardinals Finish in Top-25 of Lucian Rosa Invitational Open

KENOSHA, Wis. (Sept. 27, 2025) - 
Racing the open race of the Lucian Rosa Invitational, the North Central College women's cross country team turned in a fourth-place team finish at the 6k Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course, while four Cardinals finished inside the top-25. 

North Central totaled 103 points in the 6k open race for a fourth-place finish. Wayne State (Mich.) won the open race with 45 points followed by Tiffin in second with 69 points and Northern Michigan in third with 74 points. 

Lily Anderson was the Cardinals' top finisher in 17th place with a time of 24:57.43. Freshman Molly Sheridan was North Central's No. 2 runner crossing the finish line in 25:03.37 for 21st place. Segi Smith-Pariola and Marissa Magana finished just two seconds apart in 23rd and 24th, respectively. Smith-Pariola turned in a season-best time of 25:11.38 while Magana finished in 25:13.63.

Camdyn Lawson was just outside the top-25 in 26th-place in a time of 25:17.22, in the field of 87 from all NCAA divisions.

North Central is back in action Saturday, Oct. 4 as they head to Dixon, Ill. for the Sauk Valley Skyhawk Invitational. Race time is set for 10 a.m.
