NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Feb. 20, 2026) - The North Central College women's track and field hosted the F. Lee Slick Invitational inside the Wilde Res/Rec Center, celebrating Senior Night. Competing on Al B. Carius Track Dylan Moeller highlighted the evening with a dominant performance in the mile as multiple Cardinals recorded personal bests.
Freshman
Dylan Moeller won the mile with a personal-best time of 5:04.14, moving to sixth in program history. She also improved from third to second in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) top-25 rankings.
Lily Anderson followed in fifth with a season-best 5:25.17,
Brianna Ruiz placed eighth in 5:30.40, and
Molly Sheridan rounded out the group in ninth with a season-best 5:33.14.
Kate
Schmidthuber posted a personal best time in the 400-meter dash with 59.23 seconds, finishing third overall and remaining in eighth in the CCIW standings. Betty Tscoutas took sixth with a season-best 1:02.76, while
Zoe Ulaszek placed eighth in 1:04.06.
The
60-meter preliminaries,
Cali Minkie clocked a season-best time of 7.84 seconds, ranking sixth in program history and recording the fifth fastest preliminary time at the meet. Minke now sits fifth in the CCIW top-25 rankings.
Zainab Maiyaki and
Zara Uvakova also turned in strong performances in the prelims, with Uvakora posting her season best of 7.98 seconds.
Minkie moved into 10th in program history in the 200-meter dash, finishing third overall in 25.90.
Alivia Henkel placed eighth in 26.41.
Isabella Valentin qualified for the 60-meter hurdles final with a preliminary time of 9.35 and went on to finish fifth in 9.40.
In
the 800-meter,
Molly Sheridan recorded a season best of 2:28.01 to place fourth overall.
Gwen Berenyi placed second in pole vault with a 3.86m (12 '8') mark keeping her position on top in the CCIW performance list.
Jillian Beneke finished fifth with a 3.36m (11'.28") clearance.
In weight throw three freshmen marked their season bests,
Yakyra Wilder had another strong third-place finish with a 15.35m (50'36") mark. Wilder recorded a season best and beat her own record in the program top-10.
Isi Aroko recorded her season best with 13.38m (43 '89.76 ") and
Aryana Smith marked a 12.89m (42' 29") to finish the meet's top ten athletes.
Karley Galowitz led the Cardinals in shot put with a season best 10.85m (37'7.15") to finish fifth. Wilder (10.82m, 35'6") and
Mackenzie Conklin (10.67m, 35' 0") followed in sixth and seventh.
Abranet Layne placed sixth in long jump with a 5.31m (17'42") jump.
In
the triple jump,
Leona Agyemang finished fourth with a mark of 10.97m (35'11.89"), while.
Elianna Keyes took sixth at 10.80m (35'42").

Central returns to action Friday, Feb. 27, traveling to Bloomington, Illinois, for the CCIW Indoor Championships hosted by Illinois Wesleyan.
