Feb. 23, 2026 — Earning the first All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) accolade of his career, North Central College men's basketball sophomore James Bullock Jr. was named to the Second Team following the 2025–26 campaign.

Bullock Jr. led the Cardinals in scoring during league play, averaging 13.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game across 15 conference contests. He ranked among the CCIW's top performers, finishing 15th in scoring, 10th in rebounding, fifth in free-throw percentage (.809) and fifth in blocked shots.

The sophomore delivered several standout performances, including a season-best 25 points on 10-of-21 shooting at Carthage College on Feb. 4. He reached the 20-point mark four times in conference action with 22 points at Wheaton College, 23 at Elmhurst University, 20 against Elmhurst at home, and his 25-point effort at Carthage.

Bullock Jr. also posted two double-doubles in league play, recording 17 points and 11 rebounds at Augustana College on Jan. 14 and a dominant 20-point, 13-rebound performance against Elmhurst on Feb. 14. He shot 41.6 percent from the field and added 30 assists, 18 blocks and 13 steals while starting 14 of 15 CCIW games.

The CCIW also announced the nine winners of its RESPECT Award for the season. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and their community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourage inclusiveness and a positive culture. North Central's RESPECT Award honoree is Sean Molloy.
