Oleson Secures Second Team All-America Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (March 14, 2026) -
As the last Cardinal competing at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, North Central College men's track and field senior Cole Oleson net United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Second Team All-America honors after tying for 14th-place in the high jump Saturday afternoon.

It marks Oleson's second Second Team All-America award in indoor track and field. Oleson finished the competition in a five-way tie for 14th place after clearing 1.98 meters (6'6") on his second attempt. 

The Cardinals finished out the weekend with three Second Team All-American honors with BJ Sorg and Prentice Myles earning the distinction on Friday in the 5,000m and long jump, respectively.

North Central shifts its focus to the outdoor season, and will host the First Chance Invitational on March 27-28 at the Jay and Dot Buikema Track inside Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.
