Ebony Stallworth ’15 established herself as one of the most accomplished throwers in North Central College history, building a career highlighted by four All-America honors, multiple College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) titles, and several program records from 2012 to 2015. She made an immediate impact as a freshman, setting the program’s indoor freshman shot put record (42'9.75"), finishing runner-up in the shot put at the CCIW Indoor Championships, and collecting All-CCIW honors in the shot put and discus outdoors. Stallworth made her first of six NCAA Championship appearances during her sophomore campaign in 2013, becoming just the second Cardinal to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the shot put, where she finished ninth overall indoors. She added four All-CCIW performances as a sophomore, including her first CCIW individual title in the discus throw while helping North Central to a sweep of the indoor and outdoor CCIW Championship titles. Following a second-place finish in the shot put at the outdoor conference meet, Stallworth earned her spot on the national stage, where she secured her first All-American honor with a fourth-place finish. She also set new school records in the indoor and outdoor shot put, records that she would continue to improve throughout her final two seasons. In 2014, Stallworth added a weight throw school record of 51’3" and won her first CCIW indoor shot put title at the indoor championship and repeated as the outdoor shot put champion as North Central again claimed both CCIW team championships. She placed ninth at the NCAA Indoor Championships before earning a sixth-place finish outdoors, becoming the program’s first two-time All-American in the shot put. Stallworth continued to raise the standard in her final season with more record breaks and her third CCIW shot put title. She placed eighth at the NCAA Indoor Championships and sixth outdoors, earning her third and fourth All-America honors while helping North Central record the second-highest NCAA Championship team finish in program history with a sixth-place showing outdoors. At the time of her induction, Stallworth still held school records in the indoor (47'6.25") and outdoor (47'4.50") shot put, as well as the freshman indoor shot put record. She also ranked fifth in program history in the weight throw and eighth in the hammer throw.
