NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Feb. 26, 2008) - North Central College junior Chris Drennan (Bloomington, Ill./Normal) was named to the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin All-Conference Second Team Tuesday. It was the first such honor for the forward.

CCIW All-Conference Teams

Drennan ranked fourth in the CCIW in scoring this season with 17.3 points per game while also pulling down 5.4 rebounds per contest in 13 league games. The 6-foot-5 junior shot 53.3 percent from the field during conference play to rank seventh. He also led the Cardinals in free-throw shooting percentage at 84.9 percent during CCIW play.

For the season, Drennan played in 18 games and averaged 17.7 points and 6.1 rebounds while shooting 55.8 percent from the floor. He was an all-tournament selection at the Holiday Inn Select Tip-Off Tournament earlier this season.
