Sept. 22, 2010 - North Central College women's golfer Alyssa Gaudio has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's Player of the Week for a third consecutive week.

Gaudio was voted the conference's performer once again after taking third place at the Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Classic on Saturday and Sunday. She turned in 18-hole rounds of 75 and 76 to finish with a seven over-par total of 151 in the 36-hole event. Gaudio was the top NCAA Division III golfer in the field, beating all other in-division competitors by four strokes.

Gaudio is the only player to receive a CCIW Player of the Week award this season. She has finished in the top three in all seven of North Central's tournaments this fall, earning medalist honors five times.

North Central travels to Deer Creek Golf Club in Clayton, Ind., on Saturday and Sunday for the DePauw University Small College Classic.
