West Chicago Ill. (Sept 16) – The North Central College Women's Golf team placed fourth in a field of 17 in the Benedictine Fall Invite on Wednesday.

Senior Caterina Calabria was the low scorer for the Cardinals placing T7 at St. Andrews, shooting a 78 (+6), shaving a stroke off her score in this event last year and also shooting a new season-low in the process. Calabria was able to accomplish this low mark by shooting birdie three times in her round.

Anna Meinhart scored an 82 (+10, T22) on Wednesday, shooting a 42 on the front and then a 40 on the back nine.

Madison Place shot an 83 (+11, T28), producing a 41 on the front nine and a 42 for the back.

Freshman Quincy Weymouth shot an 85 (+13, T31) and contributed to the Cardinals final total for her second straight event. Better yet, Weymouth sank her first collegiate birdie on Wednesday.

Carley Rogers recovered well after shooting a 48 on the front nine, shaving off eight strokes on the back half and shooting a 40, good for an 88 (+16, T40) in the tournament.
