NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Oct. 8, 2012) – The North Central College men's golf team tied for fifth in their final meet of the fall season on Monday at the Naperville Collegiate Invitational. 

Nick Stavropoulos led the way for the Cardinals, tying for tenth and finishing just ten strokes off the lead, after shooting a 79 at Cress Creek Country Club and a 42 at Naperville Country Club. 

Nathan Blackburn shot a combined score of 124 to finish tied for 19th.  Ben Henderson and Gavin Corrigan both fired an 18 over-par (127) to come in tied for 28th and complete the scoring. 

The top four team spots all belonged to fellow College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin schools.  Carthage College won the team title with a combined score of 464.  Behind the day's leader Jonny Tink, Wheaton College came in second (160), with Millikin University (161) and North Park University (166) following close behind.  North Central finished with a team score of 505.
