WEST CHICAGO, Ill. (Sept. 30, 2025) - Posting their best finish of the 2025 fall season, the North Central College men's golf team took sixth place at the 23-team field at the Benedictine University Fall Invite on Tuesday.
Jake Delaney led the Cardinals with an eighth-place finish, carding a 72 (E) for the round. Dillon Che and Carter Stephenson finished at 76 (+4) on the day with Brady Higham shooting a 78 (+6). Rylan Lother recorded an 80 (+8) as well.
North Central (B) took 13th place with
Lundaa Hayanhirvaa recording a 74 (+2) for a 16th place finish. Nolan Ketchum (80, +8),
Tre Wienke (81. +9) and
Nicholas Zaimins (83, +11) completed the scoring squad.
Matt Jachim (80, +8) and Adam Ackerson (83, +11) competed as individuals.
The 18-hole round at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club was won by North Park University with a team score of 292 (+4). Aurora University (B), Judson College, Aurora © and North Park (B) rounded out the top five teams. Maddux Tarasievich of Aurora (B) and Parker Dallman of Judson shared the individual title at 70 (-2).
North Central wraps up its fall slate at the Wabash Invitational. The three-day event will begin Oct. 5 at Broadmoor Country Club in Indianapolis.
