INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 7, 2025) - Competing in their final event of the fall season, the North Central College men's golf team climbed two spots on the final day to finish 14th at the highly competitive Wabash Fall Invitational, which featured three of the top five team finishers from last year's NCAA Division III Championships.
The 54-hole tournament at Broadmoor Country Club began Monday with 36 holes, followed by an 18-hole finale on Tuesday. Dillon Che led the Cardinals with a combined score of 226 (+10), placing 38th individually. Jake Delaney, who opened with an even-par 72, finished at 227 (+11) for 45th. Carter Stephenson (233, +17), Rylan Lother (237, +21) and Brady Higham (244, +28) rounded out the lineup. North Central posted a team score of 922 (+58).
Emory University dominated the team competition, shooting 834 (-30). Carnegie Mellon University (846, -18) and Illinois Wesleyan University (859, -5) completed the top three. Kevin Mu claimed the individual title with a 204 (-12).
The Cardinals' spring schedule will be announced at a later date, with competition expected to begin in late March or early April.
