Nov. 24, 2014 - North Central College senior forward Charles Rosenberg has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 17-23.

Rosenberg received the distinction, the first of his career, after helping lead the Cardinals to two victories in the Chicago Marriott Naperville Tip-Off Tournament at Gregory Arena last weekend. He put up a career-high 25 points on 11 of 14 shooting, along with five rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals, as North Central opened the season with an 81-64 victory over Trinity International University on Friday.

On Saturday, he contributed 23 points, six rebounds and five assists as the Cardinals defeated Bluffton University (Ohio), 77-61, and was voted the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
