USTFCCCA Regional Rankings
Nov. 4, 2015 - The North Central College women's cross country owns a No. 6 ranking among Midwest Region teams heading into this year's regional championship, according to the NCAA Division III rankings released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Cardinals dropped one spot from the No. 5 ranking they held in the previous edition of the poll despite winning their second straight College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Championship on Saturday.
Washington University in St. Louis, which won last season's Midwest Region title, remains in the No. 1 spot, followed by the University of Chicago, the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Following North Central in seventh is the University of Wisconsin-Stout, while Illinois Wesleyan University, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and Wheaton College round out the top 10.
This year's Division III Midwest Region Championship will be held at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois, on Saturday, Nov. 14. North Central will be seeking to qualify for the Division III National Championship for the second straight year.
