Malosh Recognized as All-American Scholar

2019-2020 WGCA All-American Scholars

July 13, 2020 - North Central College women's golf student-athlete Julia Malosh has been recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) for commitment to excellence in athletics and academics during the 2019-2020 academic year, having been recognized with a selection to the WGCA's annual All-American Scholar Team.

One of 1,401 women's golf student-athletes with a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average to be so recognized nationwide, Ringo is one of 301 NCAA Division III representatives receive the distinction and one of seven to represent the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) alongside Carthage College's Samantha Plankey, Illinois Wesleyan University's Jenna DeMay and Millikin University's Erika Castanon, Jenna Cheek, Morgan Green and Meghan Whitlock.

An exercise science major, Malosh competed in five of the Cardinals' six events in the fall, including a 46th-place finish at the CCIW Championship. North Central did not compete in the spring.

Members of the North Central women's golf program have collected 20 All-American Scholar Awards since 2009.
