Bloomington, Ill. (Oct 30th, 2021) - The North Central College Women's Swimming and Diving team opened up on the road at Illinois Wesleyan University, as they took third place as a team in the Halloween Invitational. 
The team opened up their day with a race in the 500 yard freestyle relay where Julia Kramer, Abby Anderson, Emily Miehlke, and Taylin Lemke swam a time of 5:25.16. These same four girls would swim in the 200 yard freestyle relay race and swam a time of 1:54.89. 
Later in the day, Miehlke swam a time of 2:22.02 in the 200 yard freestyle, while in the same event, her teammate Lemke swam a 2:23.17. Kramer swam an impressive 2:33.16 in the 200 yard backstroke and Anderson swam a 2:50.82 in the 200 yard breaststroke.
Lemke and Miehlke both swam in the 500 yard freestyle and finished with times of 6:13.06 and 6:29.64 respectively. 
The women's swimming and diving are back in the pool as they travel to Beloit College on November 20th.
