Apr. 20, 2021 – For the third-consecutive week, the North Central College men's track and field team was honored by the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW), as
Taylor Sadkowski earned Field Athlete of the Week for the week of Apr. 12-18.
Sadkowski finished second in the hammer throw at the Wheaton College Invitational on Apr. 17, tossing a personal best throw of 51.40 meters (168-7). Sadkowski's throw ranks fourth all-time in program history, while currently ranking four in the CCIW and 33
rd in NCAA Division III this season.
Sadkowski joins teammates
Jamauri Spivery and
Gabe Pommier as CCIW Athletes of the Week this outdoor season, as the pair were named Track Athletes of the Week on Apr. 6 and Apr. 13, respectively.
North Central will take part in the Elmhurst University Invitational on Apr. 22 and 23 at Langhorst Field, with the hammer throw and javelin throw contested at North Central on Thursday.
