WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Mar. 12, 2022) - The finest indoor season by a short sprinter in the history of the North Central College men's track and field program ended on the award stand Saturday, as the Cardinals' Jamauri Spivery earned All-America honors in the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships at JDL Fast Track.

Spivery's North Central-record time of 6.84 seconds ranked him 16th of the 20 qualifiers in the event. He hit the finish line in the preliminary heats in 6.83 to break his own record and qualify for Saturday's final with the fifth-fastest time. A time of 6.87 in the final put kept him in the No. 5 spot, making him the Cardinals' first-ever All-American in the 60 and the 563rd in the program's history.

The Cardinals open the outdoor season Apr. 2 at the Benedictine University Invitational.
