May 14, 2022 - Surpassing a slew of personal records, the North Central College men's track and field team won four events in the Carius/Gregory Invitational, which drew close to 60 collegiate teams to Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium Thursday and Friday.
Once again, the Cardinals' varsity record in the 100-meter dash was eclipsed by
Jamauri Spivery, who placed second in an incredibly fast finish. Spivery's time of 10.48 seconds lowered the previous record of 10.55 seconds set last week at the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Outdoor Championship. The first-place finisher, JP Vaught of Centre College (Kentucky), was clocked in 10.21, the third-fastest time by an NCAA Division III student-athlete in 2022, while Spivery now ranks 15th nationwide.
North Central was at or near the front of each of the three relay events.

AJ Lehman,
Tyler Piron and
Erik Musgrave won the 4-by-400-meter relay in 3:22.69, while
Logan Skidmore,
