The North Central College men's track and field team's final competition before the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship yielded three season-best performances, as the Cardinals took part in the Midwest Twilight Qualifier at Augustana College.

The Cardinals' Jamauri Spivery won the 100-meter dash in a time of 10.48 seconds, which equals the North Central varsity record Spivery established at the Carius/Gregory Invitational last week. Connor Riss, meanwhile, registered a personal-best time of 3:49.06 in the 1,500-meter run to move into No. 8 in the program's history in the event.

Spivery, Kevin Dixon, Jahron Williams and Terrence Hill established yet another season-best time im the 4-by-100-meter relay, as the quartet finished in 41.19 seconds to place sixth. The team now ranks fourth-fastest in North Central history.

Qualifiers for next week's Outdoor Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio will be announced Friday via press release at ncaa.com.
