Sept. 20, 2022 - After helping her team to a 2-1 record on the week, North Central College women's soccer student-athlete, Elle Sutter claimed her first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week award for the 2022 season. The CCIW announced its selections on Tuesday.

The junior from Peoria, Ill. scored two goals in Sunday's Senior Day win over Knox College where the Cardinals put up 46 shots to the Prairie Fire's one, to win 5-1. Sutter also picked up an assist on Lauren Fischer's first goal of the match. Earlier in the week, Sutter claimed both goals in the Cardinals' game against Loras College on Wednesday where the Duhawks found a late second half goal to take the win 3-2 over North Central.

The Cardinals finished out last week ranked No. 2 in the region and No. 18 in the national poll. North Central's current record stands at 6-1-1 prior to conference play.

Sutter and the Cardinals take a trip up to Oshkosh, Wis. on Wednesday, Sept. 21 for their final non conference matchup with University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh before beginning conference play on Saturday. Game time at J.J. Keller Field is set for 7 p.m.
