CHICAGO, Ill. (Dec. 13, 2024) – The North Central College men's and women's track and field teams sent athletes to the Blue Demon Holiday Classic for their first official entries before the new year.

The Cardinals entered three new program top ten entries between Alexander Knight, Zach Anderson, and Braden Nicholson. Knight finished with a 7.03 in the 60-meter dash for a fifth slot while Anderson clocked in at 7.07 for a seventh position in the program's top ten.  The 3000-meter run had Connor Riss win the event with a finish of 8:18.18 with Nicholson following just behind with 8:20.94 to take a ninth-place slot in the program's top ten.

For field events, Jayden Leise took third in the triple jump with a measure of 14.23 meters (46 feet, 8.25 inches). The long jump saw James Ammenhauser take third (6.81m, 22' 4.25") with Leise following in seventh (6.48m, 21' 3.25").

The women sent Lindsey Novak to represent them in the 400-meter dash taking second place with a time of 57.63.
