CHICAGO, Ill. (Feb. 7, 2025) – The North Central College men's track and field team headed into Chicago for the Lewis University Invitational to bring home four event victories and three entries to the program's top ten.
In the 60-meter dash,
Randall Reed had the fastest time with 6.90 seconds for the victory to enter a tie for second in the program's top ten with
Alexander Knight following in fifth (7.03).
Kamil Kokot led the Cardinal victory in the 60-meter hurdle in 8.20 seconds to improve his second place time in the program's top ten. For field event victories,
Colton Oleson snagged another victory in the high jump with a measure of 2.02 meters (6 feet, 7.50 inches).
Prentice Myles took the fourth event victory for North Central in the long jump with 6.84m (22' 5.25") to enter a three-way tie for tenth place in the program's top ten.
Reed also snatched a second place finish (22.16) in the 200-meter dash to enter the program's top ten with
Marcus Caselberry following in fourth (22.27).
Lucas Hoffman led the Cardinals in the 800-meter run with a third best finish of 1:54.95.
Martin Egbo heaved a third place measure of 15.86m (51' 5.50") in the weight throw with
Anthony Zajac in fourth (15.59m, 51' 1.75"), and
Ben Balboa in fifth (15.25m, 50' 0.50"). The shot put had Balboa take fifth (14.96m, 49' 1") while the pole vault saw
Grant Sarris take fifth (4.12m, 13' 6.25").
