CHICAGO, Ill. (Feb. 7, 2025) – The North Central College women's track and field team traveled into Chicago to compete in the Lewis University Invitational to snag three victories and log two new entries to the program's top ten list.
Leading the way for the Cardinals in the 60-meter dash was
Lindsey Novak with a quick 7.72-second finish with
Allie Dockins following in fifth (7.93) to enter tenth in the program's top ten list. Novak also won the 200-meter dash to improve her program record best from 24.97 to 24.73 seconds with
Faith Ladin following in fifth (26.09) to enter tenth in the top ten. The 60-meter hurdle had Ladin win in 9.21 seconds while
Isabella Valentin followed in second (9.39) and
Anna Cotter took fifth (9.70). The 4x400 relay saw group A take second in 4:02.17 between Ladin, Novak,
Kyla Miller, and
Svetlana Uvakova.
In field events,
Gwen Berenyi had the highest Cardinal measure in the pole vault with a second best 3.86 meters (12 feet, 8 inches) to match her program's third best.
Natalie Johnson also measured in at fourth in the pole vault with 3.31m (10' 10.25"). The weight throw had
Gabrielle Harding heave a third best 15.23m (49' 11.75").
Pola Kubrak snatched fourth place 1.52m (4' 11.75") in the high jump while
Rachel Parthemore took fifth in the long jump with 4.98m (16' 4.25"). Representing the best measure in the shot put was
Robin Lee in fifth (11.74m, 38' 6.25"), and the triple jump had
Leona Agyemang log a fifth measure of 10.21m (33' 6").
