Oct. 13, 2026 – For the fourth time this season, the North Central College women's soccer team has earned a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Player of the Week award as junior Reese Anderson was named this week's offensive selection.

It marks the first weekly award of Anderson's career and the fourth for the Cardinals this season that included Jordan Lange (Sept. 8), Lauren Richards (Sept. 15), and Emma Megerle (Sept. 22). Lange earned the offensive award while Richards and Megerle each picked up defensive distinction.

Anderson scored a goal in each of North Central's two CCIW matches this week, helping the Cardinals maintain its unbeaten streak. She scored the Cardinals' first goal in the seventh minute against Millikin University as North Central claimed a 2-1 win on Wednesday evening.

On Homecoming Saturday against Carroll University, Anderson notched the tying goal in the 76th minute with North Central adding the game-winning tally in the 84th minute to defeat the Pioneers, 3-2.

With the wins, the Cardinals stay tied at the top of the CCIW at 3-0-1 in conference play and are 10-0-1 on the season.

North Central is set to travel to Chicago on Wednesday evening for a midweek match against North Park University. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Holmgren Athletic Complex.
