FARMINGTON, Mo. (Mar. 30, 2026) - Taking on a field that featured seven top-50 programs, the North Central College women's golf team placed 13th at the two-day WashU Spring Invite at Crown Pointe Golf Course.
Caterina Calabria paced the Cardinals in round one with an 82 (+10), followed closely by Anna Meinhart and Mallorie Clifton, who each turned in an 83 (+11). Madison Place completed the opening-day scoring with an 87 (+15). Meinhart led North Central on day two with an 84 (+12), while Clifton (86, +14), Calabria (87, +15) and Aleksa Gizewicz (87, +15) rounded out Monday's lineup.
Meinhart finished 43rd overall, with Clifton and Calabria sharing 48th. Gizewicz's second-round push moved her into 65th, and Place secured 74th.
Host Washington University in St. Louis fired an even-par team score on Monday to clinch the title with a 588, edging Illinois Wesleyan University (607). North Central posted a 335 in round one and a 344 in round two for a 679 total.
The Cardinals return to action Saturday at the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling, hosted by Illinois Wesleyan at Ironwood Golf Course in Normal. Play begins at 9 a.m.
