SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (Apr. 22, 2026) - Ending the 2025-26 season in style, North Central College women's golfer Mallorie Clifton carded an 80 (+8) to close her Cardinal career as the program leader in career stroke average, while Caterina Calabria shared the individual title with a career-best 75 (+3) at the Millikin Spring Shootout.

Clifton surpassed former Cardinal coach and Athletics Hall of Famer Alyssa Gaudio Guss '11 for the program's 18-hole career average record. The two entered the day tied at 82.33 over four seasons, and Clifton's 80 set a new standard at 82.17 across 67 rounds. Her round was highlighted on hole nine, where her tee shot settled two feet from the pin for a tap-in birdie.

Calabria's 75 earned a share of medalist honors with Augustana College's Riley Kinsella. Calabria recorded four bogeys and a birdie on hole nine and finished with six straight pars. Anna Mainhart followed closely with a 78 (+6), posting a team-best three birdies to place third. Clifton's 80 secured fourth, and Madison Place finished 15th with a 90 (+18).

Carley Rogers shot a 95 (+23) to place 18th, while Audrey Jaworsky competed as an individual and finished 23rd with a 100 (+28).

North Central posted a 323 to win the team title by two strokes over Augustana, marking the Cardinals' first team championship since the fall of 2023.
