Apr. 8, 2026 - North Central College Student-Athletes from four different Cardinal athletic programs connected with the Naperville community by reading to Highlands Elementary first grade students this past March.

Community service, leadership, and involvement are key parts of the NCAA's Division III Week. Student-athletes from women's track & field, women's soccer, men's basketball and football served the community by reading Jonathan London's Froggy Plays Soccer to first graders

A key component of the North Central athletic department's ongoing efforts around community and belonging is engagement through service in the Naperville area. Past community outreach activities  from student-athletes include a food drive, volunteering at Feed my Starving Children and partnerships with Special Olympics Illinois.
