DECATUR, Ill. (Oct. 3, 2009) - The North Central College men's golf team wrapped up its second two-day event in as many weeks on Saturday, taking 11th place in the 19-team Millikin University Big Blue Fall Classic at Red Tail Run Golf Club.

The Cardinals shot 329 in Friday's opening round, then posted a 319 on Saturday to finish with a 36-hole total of 648. Olivet Nazarene University won the tournament with a score of 603, beating the host Big Blue by four strokes.

Individual medalist honors went to Kyler Scott of Webster University (Mo.), who carded an even-part score of 144. North Central's Nick Guido finished just outside the top 10, placing 11th with a total of 151.

Joshua Brantner placed 39th with 161, while Brendan Chaves was 63rd with 168 and Cole Oosthuizen was 68th with 170.

The Cardinals host a triangular meet on Thursday at Napervillle Country Club.
