Nov. 5, 2019 - North Central College senior forward Connor Raridon is one of 25 NCAA Division III men's basketball players to be named to this year's D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Teams. The 10th annual version of D3hoops.com's preseason awards were announced on Tuesday.

Raridon is one of five players to be named to the Preseason All-America First Team, marking the fourth time a Cardinal has appeared on the First Team and the first since Alex Sorenson in 2016. It is Raridon's third appearance on one of the D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Teams, as he was named to the Third Team in 2017 and received honorable mention status in 2016.

Raridon was a D3hoops.com Second Team All-America pick at the end of last season, while also appearing on the D3hoops.com and National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Region Teams and earning unanimous First Team All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) accolades. He put up team-high totals of 18.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game, leading the CCIW in assists, assist-to-turnover ratio (2.57:1) and minutes played (36.7 per game). He is joined on this year's First Team by Booker Coplin of Augsburg University (Minnesota), Jake Ross of Springfield College (Massachusetts), Zac O'Dell of Swarthmore College (Pennsylvania) and Jack Flynn of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Raridon is one of two CCIW representatives on this year's Preseason All-America list, joining Third Team selection Jake Rhode of Elmhurst College.

Ranked No. 3 in the D3hoops.com Preseason Top 25 Poll and first in the CCIW Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Cardinals open the 2019-2020 season Tuesday, Nov. 12 against No. 2-ranked Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
