Oct. 18, 2024 - In the first Critical Conversation of the 2024-25 academic year, the Inclusion Team partnered with Dr. Stephen Maynard Caliendo, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; Professor of Political Science at North Central College, for a discussion about the intersection of sports and politics.

Assistant Athletic Director for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Brian Johnson '95/M'15 and Caliendo focused on the importance of politics both nationally and locally, how to sift through the media to find accurate information, how to be an informed voter, how sports has impacted politics, and more.
