D3football.com Top 25 Poll - Week 6
AFCA Top 25 Rankings - Week 6

Oct. 13, 2025 -  The North Central College football team keeps its No. 1 ranking in the D3football.com Top 25 Poll and the American Football Coaches Association Top 25 rankings. The Cardinals have held the top spot in 40 consecutive AFCA polls and 48 of the last 51 D3football.com polls.

North Central defeated Millikin University 59-10 on Saturday as wide receiver Thomas Skokna set a school record with five touchdown passes while quarterback Garret Wilson tied a program-best with six touchdown passes. Kicker Aidan Ellison also made his mark on the record books, as his 50-yard field goal was the fourth longest in North Central history.

The Cardinals rank second in Division III in total offense (552.8 yards per game) and third in total defense (192.4 yards per game allowed). North Central's 49 points per game are sixth in the nation, while the 7.6 points allowed per game rank fourth in the country.

The Cardinals earned all 51 first-place votes from the AFCA poll and 23 of the possible 25 first-place votes in the D3football.com poll. Following North Central are the University of Mount Union, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and Salisbury University in both rankings.

North Central continues CCIW play by visiting North Park University for a road contest in Chicago. Kickoff at the Holmgren Athletic Complex is set for 1 p.m.
