D3football.com Team of the Week - Week 6

Oct. 14, 2025 -  For the third straight week, a member of the North Central College football team has been honored as a D3football.com Team of the Week selection as wide receiver Thomas Skokna earned the distinction with a program record five touchdown catches in the Cardinals' 59-10 victory over Millikin University.

Skokna's five touchdown catches are the most in an NCAA game this season, regardless of division. His 10 receiving touchdowns this season rank second most in Division III this season. He is also ranked 11th in DIII by averaging 12.0 points scored per game, the fourth most by a wide receiver.

The Cardinals, led in part by Skokna, rank second in the nation in total offense with 558.2 yards per game and sixth in scoring offense with 49.0 points per game. North Central held onto the top spot in both the D3football.com and American Football Coaches Association Top 25 Polls. In the first installment of the NCAA Power Index (NPI), the Cardinals rank third.

North Central hits the road to Chicago on Saturday, taking on North Park University. The Cardinals have won each of the last 29 contests against the Vikings, North Central's longest active winning streak against any Cardinal opponent.
