ALTOONA, Wis. (Sept. 15, 2025) - Competing against a loaded field at the Wrigglesworth Blugold Invitational, the North Central College men's golf team finished in 19th place out of the 22 teams at Eau Claire Golf & Country Club.
The Cardinals shot a team score of 628 (+60) over the two-day event, led by a 19th individual finish from Jake Delaney (150, +8). Rylan Lother was right behind with a 151 (+9) to tie for 29th place in the field. Dillon Che (163, +21), Carter Stephenson (167, +25) and Tre Wienke (168, +26) rounded out the North Central lineup. Lundaa Hayanhirvaa shot a 173, +31, as an individual for the Cardinals.
Illinois Wesleyan won the team title, carding a team score of 585 (+17) over the two days. Individually, Gavin Grahek of the University of St. John's came in one under par at 141.
North Central is back on the course, competing in the Benedictine University Fall Invite at 10 a.m. on Sept. 30. That event will be held at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club in West Chicago.
