SAVANNAH, Ga. (Mar. 10, 2026) - Kicking off the spring season at the Port City Classic, the North Central College women's golf team placed seventh, finishing with a two-day total of 690 at Savannah Country Club.

Madison Place led the Cardinals in round one with a 77 (+6), opening her day with six straight pars on the front nine. Caterina Calabria followed with an 86, while Anna Meinhart (88, +17) and Carley Rogers (90, +19) rounded out the team scoring. Annie Claussen added a 96 (+25).

Building on her strong start, Place carded an 83 (+12) in round two. Calabria posted an 87 (+16), and Meinhart matched her opening-round score with another 88 (+17). Claussen contributed a 91 (+20) to close out the team scoring, while Rogers finished with a 96 (+25).

Place secured a top-10 finish, taking ninth after closing her second round with back-to-back pars. Calabria placed 36th, followed by Meinhart in 42nd, Rogers in 68th and Claussen in 69th.

The Cardinals return to the Midwest for the WashU Spring Invite, held at Crown Pointe Golf Club in Farmington, Missouri. The two-day event begins Sunday, March 29.
