United Soccer Coaches' All-Region Selections
Dec. 2, 2019 - After completing the 2019 season with the team lead in goals and points and a selection to the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) First Team All-Conference, North Central College women's soccer student-athlete
Aly Crum has added an all-region accolade to her resume, as the United Soccer Coaches' named the sophomore forward to the Third Team in the Central Region on Monday.
Crum's selection is the second instance of a women's soccer player being named to the all-region squad after
Lexi Dimovski was named to the third team last year.
Crum finished her 2019 campaign with eight goals, also pitching in three assists to amount to her team-leading 19 points. She was the driving force of an offense that averaged 1.37 goals per contest and helped the Cardinals to their first CCIW tournament appearance since 2016. The Cardinals also finished with a 5-3 CCIW record, which sets a program record for most conference wins in a single season.
The Cardinals finished the season with a 9-9-1 overall record and looks towards coming back stronger in 2020.
