ADDISON, Ill. (Mar. 1, 2021) - The North Central College women's bowling team continued its upward swing in momentum on Saturday, scoring a pair of victories over Illinois Wesleyan University in an event hosted by Elmhurst University at Stardust Bowl.

The Cardinals scored a 602-531 victory over the Titans in traditional play, as a balanced team effort was led by twin scores of 125 for Mia Hanrahan and Talia Roti. North Central improved to a total pinfall of 610 in its traditional match with Elmhurst but the Bluejays came out on top with a total of 745. Roti led the way with a team-high score of 173.

In Baker-format competition, the Cardinals defeated IWU, 657-536, winning all five games and finishing strong with scores of 150 and 147 in the final two. North Central was beaten by Elmhurst in Baker play, 862-604.

North Central closes out the regular season Saturday, hosting Augustana College, Elmhurst and Illinois Wesleyan at Bowlero Naperville.
