ADDISON, Ill. (Mar. 14, 2023) - Taking on a field of over 200 bowlers, the North Central College sent five competitors to the Intercollegiate Singles Sectional Qualifier this past weekend at the Stardust Bowl.

Jessica Ramirez was the top-placing Cardinal for the event as she tallied a total pinfall of 1,049 with a game-high 204 in the fourth game. Yvette Beltran tied for 118th with 1,024 while Talia Roti (971 pins), Lily Ratledge (836). and Jillian Brinkmann (825) completed the North Central lineup.

Karine Bouchard of Davenport University (Iowa) claimed the top spot with 1,293 total pins over the six games. Rhian Dobinson of McKendree University finished second with 1,279 total pins.

The Cardinals compete in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament for the first time in program history, beginning on March 25th. North Central captured the No. 4 seed for the event.
