Cardinal Athletics Welcomes PAVE for Title IX Training

Apr. 9, 2024 - The North Central College athletic department hosted Angela Rose Monday night, the founder and executive director of Promoting Awareness | Victim Empowerment (PAVE) for Title IX training for all Cardinals student-athletes.

PAVE, headquartered in Chicago, is a nationally renowned nonprofit that works to prevent sexual assault through social advocacy, prevention education, and survivor support. Rose's work has been recognized by the White House, Oprah Winfrey, The Today Show, TIME Magazine, and CNN.

While on campus, Rose spoke to over 500 student-athletes about athletic leadership, Title IX, healthy relationships, bystander intervention, and supporting survivors. PAVE has trained more than 100,000 college students and 10,000 professionals while maintaining chapters and affiliates across the country.
