The CSC Academic All-District Teams honor the nation's top student-athletes for their combined excellence in both athletics and academics. In order to be eligible, student-athletes must have a minimum grade point average of 3.50 and compete in at least 90% or start in at least 66% of the team's matches.
North Central completed a remarkable season, sweeping the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) regular season and tournament titles for just the second time in program history en route to its third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. The Cardinals earned the first NCAA Tournament win in program history with a 3-1 victory over Loras College. North Central ran through the CCIW with an 8-0 slate while compiling a 16-6 record for the season.
A sociology major, Salviola earns her third consecutive All-District honor and will advance to the Academic All-America ballot again after being named to the second team a season ago. The Naperville, Ill. native was named the CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year and a First Team All-CCIW honoree in 2025, becoming the first player in league history to earn the defensive award three times. Salviola started all 22 games and helped lead a Cardinal defense to 10 shutout wins while contributing five goals and one assist in her final season with the Cardinals. The senior defender ranks among the program's top 10 all-time in career goals.
An exercise science major, Mattison, continues to distinguish herself both academically and athletically for the Cardinals. The Eden Prairie, Minn. native was named the CCIW Goalkeeper of the Year and earned First Team All-CCIW honors after claiming Second Team recognition a season ago. She was also honored as the 2025 CCIW Elite 26 Award recipient, presented to the student-athlete competing in the conference championship match with the highest grade-point average. Mattison set new single-season and career shutout records as a sophomore and posted a career-high 14 saves in a standout performance against No. 1 WashU early in the season. Mattison concluded the season with a 1.01 goals-against average, totaling 75 saves and a .773 save percentage to anchor the Cardinals' defensive unit.
A biochemistry major, DeVriendt earns her second Academic All-District selection. This season, DeVriendt ranked third on the team in both points and goals while recording the second-most assists with eight. The junior midfielder played and started in 20 games, serving as a consistent attacking presence for the Cardinals with five goals, eight assists for 18 points on the year. The San Gabriel, California native is a two-time First Team All-CCIW honoree and already ranks among the program's top five in career assists and is top ten in career points.
Martinez, a mechanical engineering major, earns All-District distinction for the second-straight season. Starting and playing midfield in 17 matches this year, the St. Charles, Ill. native scored two goals and contributed an assist for five points on the season.
A sophomore psychology and neuroscience double major, Jaimes earns All-District honors for the first time. Jaimes appeared in all 22 games as a midfielder and forward for the Cardinals while getting the start in six contests. The Naperville local recorded three goals on the season, two of which were game-winners.
Bayless, a sophomore management major, earns the first All-District nod of her career. The Aurora, Ill. native appeared in 20 matches this season at forward, while notching four starts in her first year as a Cardinal.
Salviola, Mattison, and DeVriendt will each advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, with the organization announcing its Academic All-America teams on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
