Full Academic All-CCIW List - Fall 2025

Feb. 24, 2026 - The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has released its list of recipients of the Dave Wrath Academic All-CCIW Award for the 2025 Fall season. The Cardinals also honor their two Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference honorees, women's soccer student-athlete Lily Mattison and men's cross country student-athlete BJ Sorg.

North Central earned 109 Academic All-CCIW honorees across nine fall sports. The Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference list comprises those individuals who achieved an overall grade-point average of 3.30 or above and have served at least one year in residency at their respective schools.

Additionally, the CCIW announces the recipients of the Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference award. Each CCIW member institution selects two student-athletes (one men's athlete & one women's athlete) from each of the three sports seasons (fall, winter, spring) to be honored as Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference members. To be eligible, an individual must have an overall grade point average of 3.50 or above and have served at least one year in residency at their respective institution.

The Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference award is named after the former Wheaton College Director of Athletics and CCIW Commissioner. Swartz served in the Athletics Director role from 1975-1982 and as CCIW Commissioner from 1987 until his passing on July 11, 1997.

Mattison, a goalkeeper from Eden Prairie, Minn., was named the 2025 CCIW Goalkeeper of the Year as well as the Elite 26 award winner. The sophomore made 75 saves on the season, allowing just over a goal a game. The Cardinals won the CCIW regular season and Tournament before winning the first NCAA Tournament game in program history, beating Loras College, 3-1, with Mattison making four saves.

Sorg, a junior from Plainfield, Ill., earned First Team All-CCIW honors with a second-place finish at the conference championships while also winning the Elite 26 Award. The Cardinals won its 52st straight CCIW Championship. He took fourth-place at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Championships before earning All-American honors with a 30th-place finish at the national championships.
